Birthday Thanks!

Posted under Party

I made a big boo boo on my birthday. I forgot to wear makeup. Waaaah.

Anyway, I had a nice, little party in my house with family. My nieces and nephew had a grand time. They all brought food. Thank you relatives!

My parents were busy so they didn’t make it to my birthday but they called in early to inform that the turkey will be feasted on some other time. We had turkey for my birthday a few years back so I don’t really mind not having it now. Hahahaha. My birthday is always a thanksgiving day. Thank you parents!

My aunts and brothers (with their family) were in attendance as well. My youngest brother, who is in Riyadh, sent greetings earlier. Thank you family!

Thank you to everybody who remembered, old and new friends, colleagues, family friends and foreign friends.

My bf was the very first who called, at 12:03 AM. He also sent flowers. Thank you baby. I love you. Mwah.

Birthday Thoughts

Posted under Party

It’s two days before my birthday and Karen (the nth storm for this year) decided to visit Luzon and bring rain. There’s no storm signal here in Metro Manila but the rains haven’t stopped since last night. Am not going out on my birthday anyway so it’s ok whether the rains continue till then. After all, I got used to having rains on my birthday, and I can’t stop wondering if it were true that when it rains on your birthday, it means more blessings are coming in your life for the next year. I’ve been blessed with so much and I wouldn’t mind having more. Hehehehehe.

I’ve been thinking the past few days how I to celebrate my special day. I thought I’d book for a massage at Suriya Spa at Holiday Inn Galleria Manila or have a nice dinner in a fine restaurant. I also thought of treating some friends cos they always ask anyway. Then my aunt told me that they’re coming to my house on my birthday and bring food. Hmmmm. It’s always been that way every year. My relatives bring food to celebrate my birthday. I thought they’ve grown tired of it. Hahahahahaha. Am so loved no doubt. Good thing my aunt informed me about their plan cos nobody can just barge into my house or come visit unannounced. YOU GOTTA HAVE A SCHEDULE! So well, am granting their wish of celebrating my birthday in my house.

Btw, I found an old pic while sifting through some drawers. It was that of my christening. I was christened on Christmas day, 35 years ago. Yesssssss.

Thanks to all who’ll greet me on my birthday. I know who will be on top of the list.
