DH Meets SATC

What a way to start the month. Met with friends from high school. The main cast was present, Eve (the reason for the meeting), Juls, Ren, Helene and myself. We started at half past four in the PM and extended all the way to a minute shy of 9. Riz and Myls didn’t make it. Riz attended to a family matter and Myls is in the convent and can’t just go out and meet with friends. She’s a nun, btw.

Looking at my friends discuss, present their arguments, banter with one another, I can’t help but recall scenes from my fave tv shows Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City. Even the topics, the problems and issues that we discussed were like taken straight out these shows. Art imitating Life? Life imitating Art? It’s amusing, serious, downright funny and realistic–the very reasons I love those shows.
