Chocolate Truffles by Aquaknox which incidentally had their soft opening on Feb 14. I had lunch there last Monday and it was a real gastronomic treat. Am sure going back. Can’t forget the crunchy Salt & Pepper Calamari and the Cua Rang Moui Toi (Aquaknox Crab). Aquaknox is a Vietnamese restaurant located at 800 Arnaiz Ave. cor. Amorsolo St. Makati City. Aside from the very good food, the place is also a fitting place for events.

Red Devil

My niece Tintin borrowed my nail polish set a couple of months ago for her slumber party. She’s 5. Yes, nail polish for five-year-old kids, ala Gossip Girl. Anyway, she didn’t bother to return it. Good thing I didn’t include the two sets of french manicure or else I would be left with NOTHING. Just the same, french manicure doesn’t appeal to me because I don’t grow my nails long and the color is too pale for my taste. I do all the household chores too so it’s inconvenient to do so.

When I went to the grocery last week, I checked out the beauty corner and saw this red nail polish called RED DEVIL. Normally I would check out what’s available before picking one but well this one appealed to me so much that I didn’t look around anymore. hahahaha.
